This charming self catering holiday cottage/gite, or vacation rental accommodation is tucked away in the heart of lovely undulating Breton countryside, between the historic canalside towns of Pontivy and Josselin, both with beautiful chateaux.

The holiday cottage/gite is very centrally positioned in the Morbihan region. The ancient towns of Vannes and Lorient, the popular southern Brittany holiday resorts of Carnac Plage and Quiberon, northern Brittany coastal towns, Roscoff and St Malo and the impressive Mont St Michel are all within easy reach of the holiday accommodation. There are no toll roads in Brittany and parking is usually free, wherever you go.

The holiday home is an ideal base for walking or cycling enthusiasts planning a break in the Spring or Autumn and no need to bring your own bike, as four adult sized mountain bikes are ready and waiting for you at the holiday cottage, one fitted with a removable baby seat for children up to 22 kilos. The months of April, May, September and October are excellent times for seeing nature at its very best, when the trees are bursting with their spectacular seasonal colours.

You can enjoy bright sunny days and beautiful night skies, listen to the cuckoos announcing the arrival of Spring, or the owls calling to each other during their late night hunts. Watch the bats skimming and diving around the holiday cottage at dusk, or listen to the bird’s tuneful chorus at the start of the day. See the flocks of swallows in Autumn, as they prepare for their long journey back to Africa, or gaze high into the trees to see the red squirrels busily collecting their supplies of nuts for the winter.
